Commercial Hip Shade Structure Built for Long-Term Outdoor Performance
The frame is engineered for 90 mph three-second wind gusts and a 5 PSF snow load — with the steel rated even higher when fabric is removed. Steel tubing is coated inside and out against rust, finished with a thick UV-resistant powder coat, and assembled with reinforced joints and sealed welds. All hardware is high-strength and rated for outdoor use. A coastal primer option is available for salt spray environments.
Shadesure™ is the standard fabric, available in 20 colors with approximately 80% shade and up to 90% UV protection (see color swatch for exact figures). Colourshade® FR is a fire-rated fabric approved by California's Division of the State Architect (DSA), available in 7 colors for California school projects and other DSA-regulated installations.
Steel post colors are available in Black, Cobalt, Blue, Forest Green, Red, Yellow, Dark Brown, Light Ivory, White, and Tele-Gray.
