Each bench section is 70 inches long and 23 5/8 inches deep with a 16 3/4 inch seat. Both join the hexagon, which sits flush with them.
The hexagon seat measures 46 3/8 inches across its corners and 40 3/8 inches across its flats, so the middle of your run seats a small group.
Because the sections meet at an angle, people at each end can see and talk to each other instead of sitting in a line.
Each bench stands on one steel leg at its open end and joins the hexagon's steel base at the other, so there are only three points touching the ground.
Leave it free standing while you test the layout, then bolt it to your concrete so it can't be dragged apart. You supply the anchors for surface mounting.
The Liberty system takes more benches, planters and seats later, so your seating area can grow without replacing what you bought.
The slats are white ash, treated with heat and steam and no chemicals. That process, not a coating, gives the wood its rot resistance and stability.
Leave the ash alone and it weathers to silver-gray. To hold the brown, wipe on a penetrating UV oil when you see the color start to fade.
