Wabash Valley Contemporary Memorial Bench
A dedication is meant to outlast the people who paid for it. A bench that rusts through in eight years makes the opposite point.
Instead of refinishing an outdoor memorial bench on a maintenance schedule, this one is plastisol over steel with the plaque already mounted. Set it and leave it.
Parks departments run dedication programs on Wabash Valley because the finish holds. Supply-A-City is your authorized distributor. USA-manufactured, free shipping.
6' With Back and Arms | 4" x 6" Engravable Plaque | Perforated or Ribbed | Surface Mount or Inground | 8 Colors | 5-Year Warranty
The bench plaque is mounted in the center of the backrest at the factory. It measures 4" by 6" and ships blank, ready for your wording.
That is how a personalized memorial bench works. You commission the lettering through your own engraver, with your font, your layout, and no minimum on the text.
An engraved memorial bench is a two-step job at every supplier. The bench is the permanent half. The wording is the half you control.
Allow a couple of weeks for the engraver once the bench lands. Nothing about the dedication is locked to a single vendor.
Wood weathers, splits, and needs sealing on a cycle. A coated steel bench does none of that.
The seat carries a plastisol coating bonded onto the steel — a thermoplastic layer, not paint sitting on the surface.
It resists moisture, chipping, corrosion and graffiti, so the memorial still reads clearly in year fifteen.
That matters more on a commemorative bench than on ordinary seating. Nobody wants to explain to a family why a remembrance bench needs replacing.
The frame underneath is powder-coated steel. Both carry a 5-year Wabash Valley warranty.
Specifying a memorial bench for a park comes down to the mount. Surface mount bolts through feet on a pad; inground sets the legs in concrete footings.
For a dedication, inground is usually the right answer. A memorial that can be unbolted and carried off is a memorial you will be replacing.
Both stand 34" high and 28" deep, so a memorial park bench drops into an existing pad layout without redesigning around it.
Perforated runs 178 lbs surface mount and 169 lbs inground. Ribbed runs 227 and 218.
Eight colors run across both patterns and both mounts — Blue, Black, Green, Red, Yellow, Purple, Brown, and Sand.
Blue and Green move fastest through the plant. Red and Black follow. Yellow, Purple, Brown, and Sand are built to order.
A custom memorial bench here means color, pattern and mount, not a bespoke build. That is why the memorial bench cost is a catalog price rather than a quote.
Dedications usually have a date attached, so order against the ceremony rather than against the delivery window.
Freight is included here. A 227 lb bench on a pallet picks up liftgate and limited-access charges elsewhere that never reach your invoice.
As an authorized Wabash Valley distributor, Supply-A-City ships genuine USA-manufactured benches with the full 5-year factory warranty intact.
Benches arrive unassembled and require assembly.
