Wabash Valley Signature Steel Backless Bench

Are you replacing wood benches every few seasons because the boards split, splinter and need another coat of paint?

Instead of boards and bolts, you get one plastisol-coated steel seat that never needs sanding or painting, in a 6 or 8 foot length.

Parks departments and schools choose this bench because the coating resists water, dirt and graffiti, and your bench carries a 5-year warranty.

As your authorized distributor, Supply-A-City delivers this USA-manufactured bench with free shipping on orders over $500.

6' or 8' | Diamond or Perforated Steel | Portable, Surface Mount or Inground | 19" Seat Height | 13 Colors | 5-Year Warranty

Where an Outdoor Bench Without a Back Fits Best

With no back, your visitors can sit facing either way, so one bench serves both sides of a walkway, a plaza edge or a courtyard path.

The seat is only 10 3/8 inches deep. Set along a building wall or fence line on Surface Mount or Inground legs, it stays clear of the walkway.

Wood benches split and splinter, and a splinter in a visitor's leg becomes your claim, not the manufacturer's. Coated steel has no boards to split.

For seating with a back, see our Signature Steel Bench. For a 24 inch deep seat sized to the ADA bench rules, see our Signature Backless ADA Bench.

A Portable Team Bench or an Anchored One

Portable benches stand on braced feet 18 1/8 inches deep, so your crew can carry one to the sideline on game day and back to storage after.

Surface Mount bolts to a concrete pad through base plates, and Inground sets the posts 18 3/16 inches into concrete, so the bench stays where you put it.

The seat is diamond expanded steel or perforated steel coated in plastisol, a thick vinyl finish. Rain drains through the openings, so your seat dries fast.

There is nothing to sand, seal or repaint, so your maintenance budget goes to the rest of the site instead of the seating.

All dimensions are measured after coating. Your bench ships unassembled on a skid, and the drawings for all 12 versions are under the Resources tab.

Every color is built to order, so plan on about 14 to 24 business days before your bench ships. Call us for a current date if you are working to a season opener.
