Octagon Picnic Tables

Octagon Picnic Tables for Parks, Schools, and Campgrounds

Do your rectangular tables leave people at the ends, crowded on corners or unable to see each other? A long table splits a group in two.

Instead of two rows facing each other, octagon picnic tables seat a group around one top, with four separate seats so people step in without climbing over a bench. The open sides also leave room for wheelchair spaces on the ADA versions.

Parks departments trust these octagon picnic tables because the steel is coated, so there is nothing to paint, and the frames are welded. As your authorized distributor, Supply-A-City delivers genuine USA-manufactured tables with free shipping on orders $500+ and expert support. Compare our featured octagon tables below.

Choosing an Octagonal Picnic Table

Every octagonal picnic table here has a top about 46 inches across, so the choices come down to seats, base and coating.

  • Seats - four flat or rolled-edge seats, or three or two seats with open wheelchair spaces on the ADA versions.
  • Base - portable frames you can move with a crew, or pedestal and attached-seat frames built to be anchored.
  • Top - diamond expanded steel, perforated or punched steel, with an umbrella hole on several models.
  • Coating - plastisol or a choice of three thermoplastic coatings, in up to 15 colors.

Footprint and Placement

Plan about 80 inches square for a four-seat table with rolled seats, and check each ADA version's footprint on its product page. Pedestal and attached-seat tables are the ones to anchor in a public park, where a portable table can be dragged off a pad.

Portable Octagon Table Option

  • 46 3/8 inch octagon top - four separate seats
  • Standard top or umbrella hole - add shade without a second stand
  • Diamond expanded steel - plastisol coated, nothing to paint
  • 198 lbs, portable - move it with a crew when the site changes
  • 15 color options, 5-year warranty - USA-manufactured
